Students are encouraged to address concerns informally by first discussing the issue with the relevant faculty member, instructor, or staff member involved
If the issue remains unresolved after the informal approach or if the nature of the concern requires a formal process, students may submit a formal written complaint to the Academy Director or designated administrative staff member. The written complaint should detail the nature of the issue, any supporting documentation, and the desired resolution.
Upon receiving a formal complaint, Rise Dental Academy will conduct a thorough investigation. This process may involve interviewing relevant parties and reviewing pertinent documentation. The institution aims to resolve complaints within a reasonable timeframe.
The institution is committed to resolving complaints fairly and equitably. Once the investigation is complete, the Academy Director or designated authority will communicate the outcome to the student in writing. If necessary, appropriate actions or resolutions will be implemented.
In the event that a student remains dissatisfied with the resolution, they may have the option to escalate their complaint to a higher administrative authority within the institution.
Students can access the institution's complaint procedure through the student handbook or the institution's website. Contact information for submitting complaints, as well as any relevant forms or guidelines, will be made available through these channels.
Additionally, students will find information about external regulatory bodies or agencies where complaints can be directed if they are not satisfied with the institution's response.
Rise Dental Academy is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of individuals involved in the complaint process. The institution prohibits any form of retaliation against individuals who file complaints in good faith.
Complaints, that cannot be resolved by direct negotiation with the school in accordance with its written grievance policy, may be filed with the Illinois Board of Higher Education, 1 N. Old State Capitol Plaza, Suite 333, Springfield, IL 62701, or at www.ibhe.org.
